Notes:Attributed to Carleton Watkins. This image is probably the Main & Winchester harness and saddlery display at the Mechanics Institute Fair. The sign partially in view at the top of the image is "MA... Wholesale Dealers". The display and display case are similar to those at the 1864 and 1879 fairs. This is likely the 1868 MI Fair based on the card mount with rounded corners.
